Ruth Swenson Eyre has made a labor of love out of the compiling and editing of the histories written by Dan and Margaret. With generous and synergistic help from her siblings, a story has been preserved that will live on for future generations.

Her devotion to accuracy and detail, coupled with the love and feeling that she has put into this project is extraordinary. She has not only compiled, edited and sequenced the records from Dan and Margaret's journals, but also found appropriate illustrations and pictures for almost every part of the text.
