Printed on completely waterproof "paper" (actually made of stone) it's perfect for missionaries, campers, hunters, missionaries, preppers, or anyone who spends time out in the elements and reads the Book of Mormon. This take-anywhere book is built for the latter days.

The big breakthrough that happened just days before our Kickstarter expired was full permission from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' Intellectual Reserve Inc. (IRI) to use the current edition of the Book of Mormon and the familiar navy-blue cover with gold embossed titling. This is a huge development because it means we can pursue this same treatment in every language of the Church until we have flooded the world with books that can survive floods and all manner of calamities and tribulation.

The book is printed on state-of-the-art "stone" paper, comprised of powdered limestone bonded together in a polymer matrix that is entirely waterproof. This material is durable, strong, and designed to last.

The interior is the official 2013 text of the Book of Mormon, (minus 178 pages of appendices and pronunciation guides, etc.) making it, at once, the most current and most durable edition available.
