Mother's mind was endlessly creative. We often played games as a family around the kitchen table after supper. WORD POSSIBLE is the name my publisher and I chose for 2012. Years ago we just called it "Mother's Game."

One day when I was in first grade, Mother couldn't decide which game to take to our "MYF" (Mennonite Youth Fellowship) get-together the coming week. Her brain went into its intellectual spin as we cut out little squares of white cardboard for her to write out the categories as she thought them up. She called out each category as she wrote them, we even joined in and gave her our ideas. We actually started playing the game as it was being created and so it became our "Family Game." Immediately, we knew it would be more fun and challenging if the answers were from different letters of the alphabet. This made it even more exciting because it was different each time we played it. If we happened to lose a card or two, no worries, we could still play it forever!

Another valued blessing of this wonderful family game is the little ones can join in also without needing to use a specific letter for their answers. Age or skill is no concern with the joy of playing this exciting game. It's a perfect way to spend more quality time as a family and with friends. Adults love this just as much as the children do. WORD POSSIBLE helps develop memory within the brain and cherished family memories all at the same time.
